Our Cattery's Ten Commandments

“A Reputable Breeder Should Always”

1.
Place cats and kittens into new homes by contract
and with a health guarantee.

2.
Except the return of a cat or kitten should the purchaser
be unable to keep their pet.

3.
Carefully interviews prospective owners and have specific requirements
that are to be met, Such as cat or kitten is to be altered before receiving
registration papers.

4.
Be excited and able to educate the novice or new owner
and happily answers all questions regarding the
breed and their mating practices.

5.
Insists on being informed of any health, genetic, or behavioral problems
the cat or kitten may develop in its lifetime and
never over breed any cat and never beyond 5 years of age.

6.
Will not have more cats or kittens than I am able to provide
medical treatment for or keep clean.

7.
Will spend individual time with each of my cats and kittens and
make sure each cat or kitten is well socialized.

8.
Will be able to provide an appropriate nutritional diet including
and not limited to a wild diet.

9.
Be open and honest with every adopter about the temperament
in their cats and kittens as well as health conditions.

10.
Make myself available for advice and education for other breeders
and always speak with respect and honesty when dealing
with other Cattery's or potential adopters.
